Value City Furniture, Best Buy: Joliet's Most Expensive Listing

JOLIET, IL — How would you like to own a giant retail building near the Louis Joliet Mall that houses Value City Furniture and Best Buy? You can acquire it, the property is for sale, but it's expensive. At $12.5 million, it's the most expensive commercial property in the city of Joliet listed at the moment on the real estate website LoopNet.

According to the property listing, Best Buy and Value City Furniture both have signed new 10-year lease renewals for the properties at 3351 and 3355 Mall Loop Drive. The land is directly across from the Louis Joliet Mall, which continues to struggle to fill two of its major anchor stores that closed in 2018: Sears and Carsons.

According to the Los Angeles-based property listing agents, Newmark Knight Frank, Joliet's Best Buy and Value City Furniture store property includes nearly 9 acres plus 625 parking spaces. There are also six exterior loading docks connected to the building.

The $12.5 million property listing near the Louis Joliet Mall is not the only retail space available near the Louis Joliet Mall.
