1,004 Lemont High School Students Earn Honor Roll Distinction

An average of 240 students per class earned at least a 3.0 grade point average for the second semester of the academic school year.

LEMONT, IL — More than 1,000 Lemont High School students were named to the second semester honor roll with an average of more than 240 students from each class earning academic honors, the district announced on Tuesday.

In order to achieve high honor roll honors, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and honor roll students must achieve a grade-point average of between 3.0 and 3.49. Any student who receives a grade lower than a ‘C’ is not eligible to be recognized on either list.

Of the 1,004 students who were named to the honor rolls, the outgoing senior class produced the highest number with 260 (206 high honor roll, 54 honor roll). The sophomore class followed with 256 honor roll students (214 high honors, 42 honor roll), followed by the junior class, which produced 246 honor roll students (214 high honor roll, 32 honor roll) followed by the freshman class, which had 242 honorees (213 high honors, 29 honor roll).
