Historical Society Plans Downtown Walking Tour
The tour will begin at the Old Stone Church, 306 Lemont St., at 10 a.m. on July 17.
LEMONT, IL — If you'd like to learn more about the history of Lemont, you can head out on the Lemont Historical Society's downtown walking tour on July 17. The tour will begin at the Old Stone Church, 306 Lemont St., from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The tour is 3/4 mile, and includes two flights of stairs and a railroad crossing. The society said the tour will include learning about the churches, murals, war memorial, gazebo and other historic buildings and people.
It is $10 per adult, $7 for seniors, and $5 per child.
