2 Lemont Gas Stations Burglarized: Cops
Police said cash, alcohol and cigarettes were stolen from both businesses.
LEMONT, IL — Two Lemont gas stations were burglarized late last week on Aug. 28, Lemont Police said. The BP gas station, 12300 Archer Ave., and the Shell gas station 12301 S Archer Ave., were both burglarized around 2:30 a.m. Aug. 28.
According to police, five males, in their upper teens to early 20s, wearing hooded sweatshirts and partial masks, shattered the front doors of the gas stations to make entry.
Police said cash, alcohol and cigarettes were stolen from both businesses.

According to police, similar incidents also happened on the same night in Woodridge, Romeoville, Elmhurst and several other suburbs.
