3 Inches Of Snow Possible; Cold Temperatures Sticking Around
The winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. Monday for DeKalb, Kane, DuPage, LaSalle, Kendall, Grundy, Cook and Will counties.
ILLINOIS — Yet another winter weather advisory is in effect Monday as more snow is expected for the Chicago area. According to the National Weather Service, the advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. Monday for DeKalb, Kane, DuPage, LaSalle, Kendall, Grundy, Cook and Will counties.
Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected, the weather service said. Slippery road conditions are possible, and the Monday evening commute will be impacted.
'The cold temperatures are expected to stick around as well, with highs sticking around 20 degrees. On Wednesday, snow is possible south of Interstate 80, and it also is in the forecast Thursday. Friday will be partly cloudy with a high of 17, according to the weather service.
