Alvernia Manor Seniors to Debut Monthly Farmers Market

LEMONT, IL — The seniors of Alvernia Manor will launch their first farmers market, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 13. The market will return the second Friday of every month through October, in the parking lot of the facility.

The market will feature grapes, pineapple, oranges, melons, cucumbers and tomatoes. Other vendors are invited to participate at no charge. Other items for sale will include candle fragrances, flowers, bakery goods and promotional items.
