Apartment Fire In Lemont, No One Injured: Cops

LEMONT, IL — No one was injured in an apartment fire on Monday in Lemont, Lemont Police told Patch. The fire happened Monday afternoon in the 900 block of State Street.

The fire appears accidental in nature, police said. The Lemont Fire Protection District is on the scene and has extinguished the fire.

State Street in Lemont will remain closed for about 20 more minutes as the scene clears, police said.
