Best Patio, Beer Garden In Lemont: Readers Pick

LEMONT, IL — We asked Lemont Patch readers last week to give us their favorite patio and beer garden recommendations. And the results on your favorite spots are now in.

There was a clear winner as the outdoor patio at Corner Stone Tavern, 103 Stephen St., in downtown Lemont, got the most votes. In second was The Foundry at The Forge: Lemont Quarries, 1001 Main St.

"It's large, has a lot of space, a great view, and tucked away for privacy," one reader said about the patio at Corner Stone.

"Absolutely beautiful," said another reader.

Readers also praised the atmosphere, food, staff and management at the restaurant.

Some go-to orders at Corner Stone, as recommended by readers, included: hot chicken sandwich, boozy shake, fried bologna sandwich, fish tacos, fried cauliflower bites, burgers, and the fried tomato sandwich.
