On March 13, 2020 Bethany Lutheran Church, Lemont, made the decision to suspend in person worship services due to the health concerns around COVID-19. Bethany is still committed to serving its population in worship and will be moving to a virtual platform for its normal services on Sunday mornings at 10:30a and Wednesday evenings at 7:00p. If you are interested in more details regarding worship, please directly message Bethany Lutheran Church’s Facebook or reach out to the Church Council President, Kealy Schroeder, at Kealy.schroeder@gmail.com.
Also, plans for the food pantry and food distribution will be determined early next week. Community members should call the church before dropping off donations.
Bethany urges community members to please continue to practice consistent hand washing, stay home if you are not feeling well, and in the midst of the uncertainty and concern, take care of your spirit too. We appreciate your support and understanding during these trying times and want to assure you that we will continue to monitor the situation and hope to be back up and running as soon as we can so that we can “Nurture with love and serve with hope.”
