Congratulations, Lemont High School Grad Calista Chaidez

LEMONT, IL — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.

Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one.

Calista Chaidez will graduate from Lemont High School.

Plans after graduation: Calista will attend Wheaton College to pursue a Masters Degree in Psychology

Accomplishments: Calista is a High Honor Roll student who has loved her time at LHS. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa National History Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Thespian Society, she is the Book Buddy & Muse Letter Officer for the National English Honor Society, Lead Editor for Yearbook, Interact Club, Link Crew, Multicultural Club, HOSA, Leader in SPARK Literary and Art Magazine. Calista has also participated all 4 years in LHS's awesome musicals. She has been in Grease, Cinderella, Newsies (cancelled because of pandemic) and her final year, Zombies (to be released virtually soon).
