Cooler Start To The Week Before Temps Rise To 60s Again

ILLINOIS — After a blustery Sunday, quiet weather is expected for most of the work week. According to the National Weather Service, temps will mostly stay in the 40s until Thursday, when we could again see highs in the 60s.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will have highs of 51, 42 and 50 degrees, before a high of 63 on Thursday.

According to the weather service, it should remain dry all week, before a chance of rain on Friday night. Friday will also maintain the milder temps, with a high of 59.

MONDAY: Sunny, with a high near 48. West southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

TUESDAY: Sunny, with a high near 41. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Clear, with a low around 26.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny, with a high near 48.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 61.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.
