Creamery Opening In Downtown Lemont

LEMONT, IL — A new ice cream shop will be opening this spring in downtown Lemont. Creamery will be opening its fourth location at 400 E. Illinois St. The ice cream shop, which has locations in Homer Glen, New Lenox, and Manhattan, sells cones, parfaits, sundaes, cake rolls, hot dogs, sloppy joes, chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, fries and Italian beef.

"We have always had our eyes on Lemont," Catering and Event Coordinator for the Creamery Victoria Sisk told Patch. "Its rich history and lively community have been drawing us there for years. We were thrilled when we found the property. The location is adorable, and we are hard at work getting ready for our spring opening!"

Sisk said residents can expect a patio with outdoor seating for families to enjoy ice cream.

"We are also happy to say that while we are most known for our extensive ice cream and dessert menu, we are excited to bring our staple food items that have been with the Creamery for decades," Sisk said.

Sisk said the business is also enhancing its menu of sweet treats. Soft serve ice cream and hand-packed ice cream will be served at the Lemont location, and the business also recently added homemade cheesecake to the menu. This summer, customers can also look forward to shaved Hawaiian ice.

"To our Lemont residents, we are so grateful to be here, and we are very excited to meet you," Sisk said.
