Criminal Sexual Abuse, Domestic Battery: Lemont Police Reports

LEMONT, IL — The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt.
Feb. 16
- Jeffrey Velarde, 27, of Lemont, was charged with domestic battery at 8:39 a.m. following an incident in the 200 block of Illinois Street. Velarde was transported to the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

- Michael Jacksa, 42, of Crest Hill, was charged with criminal sexual abuse. Jacksa was transported to the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.
- Tonya Veenstra, 46, of Wilmington, was charged with two counts of retail theft at 2:50 p.m. following an incident in the 1100 block of State Street. Veenstra was transported to the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.
Feb. 24
- Albert Arrivi, 38, of Lemont, was charged reckless driving and failure to yield right of way to highway construction crew at 3:57 p.m. following an incident at Main Street and Walker Road. Arrivi was issued a March 31 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

- Amani Elmosa, 27, of Palos Park, was charged with driving while license suspended/revoked and speeding 15-20 mph over the limit at 7:24 p.m. following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Marian Drive. Elmosa was issued a May 10 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
