District 113A to Hold Meeting on Federal Disabilities Act Funding

Parents of students with disabilities who are homeschooled or attend parochial schools are invited to attend.

Children with disabilities who attend parochial schools or who are homeschooled may be entitled to services based on the proportionate share of Federal IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Act) money Lemont-Bromberek CSD 113A receives. Each year, representatives from the nonpublic schools in Lemont, as well as parents of students with disabilities or those for whom a disability is suspected, who are parentally placed in Lemont nonpublic schools or homeschooled, are invited to provide input about how to spend these federal dollars.

This Timely and Meaningful Consultation meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the District Office conference room at 16100 127th St. in Lemont. If you are interested in attending, please contact Sue Buhle, Administrative Assistant for Student Services, at 630-257- 2286, ext. 4615 or sbuhle@sd113a.org.
