First Blooms And Blues Event Planned At Township Community Center
The Lemont Junior Woman's Club and Lemont Township will host the event, which will be held from 2 to 8:30 p.m. on July 24.
LEMONT, IL — The first annual Blooms and Blues event will feature beer and wine, food and live music while you enjoy Lemont's prairie at the Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba.
The Lemont Junior Woman's Club and Lemont Township will host the event, which will be held from 2 to 8:30 p.m. on July 24.
The event will have beer and wine from BTB wines, food from Matt's BBQ, Jimbo's Pizza and several local bands will perform. The line-up is: Bobby K from 2 to 2:30 p.m., Gristmill Nomads (featuring Lemont Police Chief Marc Maton) from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Rev. Dogman from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and Bourbonic Plague from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, gift basket raffle and punch-a-bunch board.
Tickets are $10 online or $15 at the door, and it is a cash only event. Children 12 and under are free.

The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Lemont Junior Woman's Club, which provides financial and volunteer support to several community causes, according to event organizers.
