The Forge: Lemont Quarries Plans 1st Birthday Celebration

LEMONT, IL — To celebrate its first year, The Forge: Lemont Quarries will hold a 1st birthday part on July 17, featuring a DJ, live entertainment, cake and a fireworks show. The celebration will last from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the park, 1001 Main St.

According to the park, there is no purchase required to enter, only to participate in activities or access reserved seating at The Mount. Guests can save 36.5 percent on adventure activities as part of the birthday celebration, and some activities start at $10.

Live entertainment will play at The Mount from 3 to 9 p.m., and feature a DJ, Sam Trump and the Soul Vortex, and Akasha. A grand finale fireworks show will begin at 8:30 p.m.; you can view the fireworks from the ground, from the Eight Towers Adventure or Two Towers Adventure, or even from a kayak or canoe on the quarry.

Free cake will also be available for the first 365 guests to stop by The Foundry.
