Halloween Hoedown Set for Saturday

Halloween Hoedown will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in historic downtown Lemont.

Festivities will include trick-or-treating, haywagon rides, children’s activities, a Halloween Hoops contest, food and treats. Line up at 12:30 at Legion Park for the costume contest and parade, followed by trick or treating at participating downtown stores and all the miniature houses at Safety Village.

A Halloween jumpie will be positioned at Budnik Plaza. And don’t forget to take some frightening photos with the village’s fun backdrop.
