Lemont's Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking volunteers for its final "Mission Stay Saturday."

On Saturday, Aug. 24, volunteers are needed to help with yard work and small fix-up jobs around town, according to Hope and Friendship founder Terri O'Neill-Borders.

The group meets at the Lemont Police Department, 14600 127th St. at 8 a.m.

Baked goods are also needed to create care boxes. Items can be dropped at the police station between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
