Ice Sculpting Demonstration Planned In Downtown Lemont

The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 27 along the I&M Canal Trail on Front Street.

LEMONT, IL — The Village of Lemont will host a live ice sculpture demonstration Feb. 27 in downtown Lemont. The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. near the Candy Cane Lane light display along the I&M Canal Trail on Front Street.

The event was supposed to take place earlier this month, but had been canceled due to the frigid temperatures.

The village said the design of the ice sculpture will be chosen by the audience, so you can root for the design you want to see. The event is free.
