Kids Cook Off Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The seventh annual Kids Cook Off will be held at the Lemont Township Community Center on Sunday, Jan. 27. The event, for kids ages 5-18, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m.

According to a release, there are three categories: appetizers/salads, entree and dessert. Kids can enter one or more of the categories, and age divisions are 5-8, 9-13 and 14-18. All participants are to arrive at the Community Center by 1 p.m. with their entries cooked/prepared and set up to offer samples to those who will be taster/judges.

If you would like to be a taster/judge, you can come to the event between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., and a $5 donation is requested, which will then be donated to Lemont Food Pantries.
