Lemont Choirs Set for Concert on October 6

Show will be held in the Performance Art Center.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School will host its first-ever fall choral concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, in the school’s Performing Arts Center. The school’s choir and A Cappella Choir both will perform. Both groups are under the direction of Lemont High School music teacher Stephanie Cesaroni.

The concert will feature general seating for attendees, and admission is free.

Lemont High School’s choir will perform a variety of pieces, including “All Ye Who Music Love” by Linda Spevacek, “Jazz Cantate” by Andy Beck, “Chili Caliente” from David Giardiniere, “Ching a Ring Chaw” by Linda Spavacek, and “The Battle of Jericho” by Roger Emerson.

The A Cappella group will entertain with “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen, and “Uptown Funk” from Bruno Mars.

Lemont High School is located at 800 Porter Street in Lemont. Attendees are encouraged to park in the Performing Arts Center Lot, Parking Garage or the West Lot, all of which are accessible off of Julia Street.
