Lemont Decreases Liquor Licenses As 2 Businesses Close
The Vault and Gelsosomo's Pizza have both permanently closed in recent months.
LEMONT, IL — As businesses open and close, the Village must amend its code of ordinances to decrease or increase the number of associated liquor licenses. At its meeting on Nov. 9, the Lemont Village Board approved an ordinance to decrease the number of liquor licenses due to two business closures.
The Vault, which was located at 308 Canal St., had a Class A-3 liquor license. The restaurant is now closed, and its liquor license has been removed, board documents state.
Gelsosomo's Pizza, which was located at 206 Main St., was also operating with a Class A-3 liquor license. The restaurant has consolidated with its sister restaurant, Digs on Canal, and no longer needed that liquor license.
