Lemont Football Advances To Second Round Of IHSA Playoffs

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School has advanced to the second round of the Class 6A IHSA football playoffs. In the first round, LHS defeated Springfield 52-14.
In the second round, the team, which is 8-2, will face Glenwood High School , which is 10-0. The game will be played in Chatham at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.
The Indians are the No. 7 seed, while Glenwood is seeded No. 2.

The winner of this week's game will play the winner of Crete Monee and Providence Catholic High School.
