Lemont High School to Honor its 'Hometown Heroes' at Oct. 7 Football Game
Local police, fire, and rescue units will be recognized before the game.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School will honor the work of Lemont’s police, fire and rescue units when it hosts “Hometown Heroes” night in conjunction with the school’s football game on Friday, October 7. This annual event, which is in its 13th year, is put on by Interact, the school’s community service student organization.
Members of Lemont’s police, fire and rescue units, as well as their families, have been invited to a reception prior to the game, where they will provided a meal courtesy of the Lemont High School Blue & Gold Backers. Immediately after the conclusion of the sophomore level game, the “Hometown Heroes” will be recognized.
The sophomore level game against T.F. South is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., and the Hometown Heroes event should begin somewhere between 6:25-6:40 p.m. Lemont’s varsity squad will play at 7 p.m.
