Lemont High School to Host 8th Grade Open House on November 2

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School will host its annual 8th Grade Open House on Wednesday, November 2, from 6:30-8 p.m. The event provides an opportunity for current 8th grade students and their parents to meet Lemont High School teachers, counselors and administrators. Additionally, the school has scheduled its freshman placement exam for Saturday, November 5.

Any incoming student who lives within the school’s attendance boundaries, or who will live within those boundaries during the 2017-18 school year, is encouraged to take advantage of the “sneak peek” that the open house provides. Lemont High School’s attendance boundaries include Lemont and portions of Darien, Downers Grove and Woodridge.

Students and parents/guardians alike will have the chance to learn about the fine academic and extra-curricular programs offered by Lemont High School. Prospective students and their parents may visit various areas throughout the building as well, including the school’s outstanding athletic facilities and the state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center.

The 8th Grade Open House will begin in the school’s Performing Arts Center, which is located on the southwest side of campus. Lemont High School is located at 800 Porter Street in Lemont.
