Lemont High School Marching Band Celebrates 1st Place Win
The Lemont High School Marching Band Placed First in Class 2A at the 2019 Lincoln-Way Marching Invitational

The Lemont High School Marching Band won first place in its division and took home awards for Outstanding General Effect and Outstanding Visual Effect at the Lincoln-Way Marching Invitational at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox on Saturday.
The LHS Marching Band's 2019 performance is titled April Showers, and features "Gloria" and "All Things Bright and Beautiful," by John Rutter. The band is led by David Nommensen, Head Marching Band Director, and Matt Doherty, Director of Bands.
Next up, the LHS Marching Band will head to the Illinois State Marching Band Championships at Illinois State University in Bloomington on Saturday, October 19th.
