Lemont Historical Society Presents Fright Night at the Movies
Don't miss two classic scary movies Friday, Oct. 21.
LEMONT, IL — Join the Lemont Historical Society, 306 Lemont Street, for a screening of two silent classic horror films on Friday, October 21, in the shadows of an 1860 coffin.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the 1922 silent film, The Headless Horseman, begins at 6:30 p.m. This movie is a depiction of the 1820 “Legend of Sleepy Hollow” by Washington Irving. A young Will Rogers headlines the movie.
At 8 p.m., the German horror film Nosferatu, a symphony of horror, the original silent classic vampire movie, will air. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children.
