Lemont HomeGoods Reopens After Water Leak

When asked why the store had closed, the company said it didn't have anything to add at this time.​

LEMONT, IL — After a few days of closure, the Lemont HomeGoods store, 13422 Archer Ave., is back open.

HomeGoods Public Relations had told Patch the store was closed for the time being, and a reopening date had not yet been set, but the store is open as of Thursday.

When asked why the store had been closed, the company said it didn't have anything to add at this time.

An employee told Patch that a water main leaked, and the store had to be cleaned.

"We’re grateful for our customers’ patience, and look forward to offering them an ever-changing selection of high-quality, brand name items at amazing value again soon," Marketing Supervisor for HomeGoods Public Relations Samantha Abbatessa said.

HomeGoods is a chain of home furnishing stores, and sells furniture, art, linens and cooking products. It is owned by TJX Companies, and is a sister company to T.J. Maxx and Marshalls.
