Lemont Indians 11U Baseball Win Midwest Baseball Championships Tournament

The Lemont Indians went 6-1 to capture the championship in the Midwest Baseball Championships Tournament. This was a 5-state tournament with teams from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio. In the championship game the Lemont Indians beat the Columbus Wizards 17-3.
On the road to the championship the Indians beat the Lansing Thunderbolts (13-2), then the Indians lost to the Columbus Wizards (4-3). The next day the Indians took down the Kendallville Titans (8-3) and the Orion Chargers (11-1). Once braket play started the Indians could not be stopped. Scoring 42 runs on Sunday, the Indians beat the Carol Stream Cougars (8-0), and the Wisconson Rockhounds (17-4). That set up a rematch with Columbus, this time the Indians would not be outdone. Taking only 4 innings, the Indians won (17-3)
