Lemont Pack 149 Holds Campfire Meeting

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Pack 149 will hold a campfire for families of boys or girls in kindergarten through fifth grade looking to learn more about scouting. The event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on June 15 at the Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba St.

There will be a campfire, marshmallow roasting, skits and more. According to the pack, Scouts will also be demonstrating the proper way to retire a US flag by conducting a flag retirement ceremony.

Any child who registers to join the pack will be given an Estes rocket. A rocket launch with the pack is scheduled for July 15 from 1 to 3 p.m.
