Lemont Park District Welcomes New Commissioner

Leland Wagner fills the vacancy left by the resignation of Jim Davoren.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Park Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce the appointment of the agency’s newest board member, Leland “Lucky” Wagner. Earlier this year, the District received a letter of resignation from previous Park District Board Commissioner, Jim Davoren. Due to other obligations, Jim was unable to fill the role of Park District Commissioner. Commissioner Wagner was sworn in as a Lemont Park District Commissioner at the monthly board meeting on April 19, 2016.

"It is an honor and privilege to be appointed as a Lemont Park District Commissioner. Having the opportunity to serve the community in which I live, in this capacity is such an important part of my own family’s life. It is exciting and I welcome the new challenge,” said Commissioner Wagner.

“With his impressive background in Leadership, Education and Marketing, Commissioner Wagner is essentially the perfect addition to our Park District team,” said Board President Brian Pepich.
