Lemont Pet Food Pantry Helps Woodridge Neighbors After Tornado

The main bulk of the donations went to West Suburban Community Pantry and Saint Scholastica Parish in Woodridge.

LEMONT, IL —Wet Nose Pet Food Pantry in Lemont, which helps families in need feed the four-legged members of their family, recently helped Woodridge-area families after a June 20 EF-3 tornado caused widespread damage in the town.

Lemont resident Kate Quinn, who owns and operates the pantry, received donations from the community and local humane societies, and distributed it to families and pets in need.

The main bulk of the donations went to West Suburban Community Pantry and Saint Scholastica Parish in Woodridge, which had set up an emergency assistance center in the wake of the tornado, Quinn said.
