The Lemont Public Library will be closed from Monday, April 25 through Wednesday, May 4 for parking lot resurfacing and internal preparations.
During that time there will be no book and AV drops available. All loan periods will be extended.
The closure is for the final steps of a $2.8 million renovation project funded by a bond approved by voters in November 2014.

Updates include reconfiguring the addition of space near the front of the building, in addition to reorganizing current space to allow for more quiet reading areas. Plans also include updating electrical and data systems, roof replacement, parking lot repairs and carpet replacement.
