Lemont Tabs 31 Students for Inaugural Science National Honor Society Induction
To be eligible for selection, students must maintain a non-weighted GPA of 3.5 or better in all science classes.

Lemont High School welcomed its first class of Science National Honor Society inductees with a brief ceremony in the school’s Board Room on March 23. A total of 31 students were honored for their excellence in science.
To be eligible for selection, students must maintain a non-weighted GPA of 3.5 or better in all science classes. All inductees must have taken at least one Honors or Advanced Placement level science class the year prior to their selection; be enrolled in at least one such class the year of their induction; and junior inductees must enroll in at least one such class as seniors to maintain their eligibility.
Additionally, students must be part of at least one of the school’s science clubs or activities, including the South Suburban Conference Science Competition, Health Occupations Student Association, Science Club, Worldwide Youth in Science & Engineering, STEM WOW, or the Argonne Research project.
