Lemont Township Hosts Annual Kids Cook Off

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Township will host its fifth annual Lemont Township Kids Cook Off on Sunday, Jan. 28. According to the township website, there are several categories, including: appetizer/salads, entree, desserts.

The cook off will be held at the Lemont Township Community Center and is for young chefs ages 5 to 18. Age categories will be 5-8, 9-13 and 14-18.

If you would like to taste the dishes, you can donate $5 and taste entries between 1 and 2:30 p.m. You will then vote on your favorite, judging on preparedness, creativity and taste.
