Lemont Varsity Football Game Postponed Due to Storms
The Indians' 2013 opener against Plainfield South has been rescheduled to 6 p.m. Saturday, officials said.

Lemont High School has canceled the varsity football game scheduled for Friday night due to stormy weather.
The Indians were set to take on Plainfield South at home at 7 p.m., but the game was canceled shortly before kickoff due to a line of severe thunderstorms passing through the area.
The teams are now scheduled to play at 6 p.m. Saturday, said Tony Hamilton, director of school and community relations for District 210.
The Indians went 11-2 last year, including an 8-1 run in the regular season. The team advanced to the state semifinals for the fourth time in six years, but fell just short of the championship game after losing 28-27 to Crete-Monee.
