LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School’s Performing Arts Center remains quiet this winter, but the school’s Drama Club is ready to debut a timely and powerful production, the school said in a release. The group will feature Sarah Tuft’s 9/11 docudrama, "110 Stories", with virtual performances scheduled for Feb. 12-13.
Shows will begin at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, the school said. Tickets for the show are $8.95 for students and seniors and $11.95 for adults (streaming service fee included in each ticket). Tickets may be purchased on the school's website.
For several months, the Drama Club has been virtually rehearsing, designing, attending make-up workshops, recording scenes and editing, and the students are excited to showcase their work, the school said in a release.

"110 Stories" takes attendees through 9/11 as told by those who were there. Based on interviews, the production weaves together stories from individuals not shown on the news: a mother, a photojournalist, an ironworker, a chiropractor, and a homeless man who saved lives that day.
"110 Stories" will be performed under the direction of Paula Smith and Leslie Kane.
