LHS Plans Outdoor Graduation Ceremony
Graduates will receive two tickets each for guests at the ceremony, which will be held outdoors on May 28.
LEMONT, IL — With the end of the school year quickly approaching, many area high school districts have announced plans for graduation events. In Lemont, Lemont High School will hold an outdoor graduation ceremony for its class of 2021 seniors. The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on May 28 in the stadium on campus at 800 Porter St.
All graduates will be able to be recognized at one ceremony under the current capacity limits for ticketed outdoor events, Director of School and Community Relations Tony Hamilton said. Graduates will be provided two tickets for the outdoor ceremony.
"If the capacity limit under the 'Restore Illinois' guidelines is increased by graduation, school administrators will consider whether additional tickets can be provided for our graduates while still adhering to the capacity limit," Hamilton said.
