LHS Special Olympics Team Receives $4K Donation
The donation will be used to help purchase apparel and equipment the team will use in practice and competition, the school said.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School's Special Olympics team received a $4,350 donation from a new local organization, 100 Brothers Who Care. The donation will be used to help purchase apparel and equipment the team will use in practice and competition, the school said.
Keith Wallace, who heads up the organization, stopped by campus Wednesday with Lemont High School parent Guy Maniscalo and his son, Gaetano. Together, they presented the donation to beneift the team.
According to its Facebook, Special Olympics Illinois provides competition and sports and leadership training for people with intellectual abilities across the state.
