LHSEF Plans Taste Of Lemont
The event will feature some of the best food and beverages the Lemont community can offer, as well a concert from Mike and Joe.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School Educational Foundation will host the annual "Food for Thought: Taste of Lemont" on Saturday, Sept. 8. The event will take place from 5-11 p.m. near the Metra Lot in downtown Lemont.
According to the school, this fun, family-friendly event, made possible in part by Visionary Sponsor Citgo, will feature some of the best food and beverages the Lemont community can offer, as well a concert from Mike and Joe.
Tickets are on sale now and are $10 if purchased in advance ($15 in person at the door). Admission is free for ages 14 and under, and also free for Lemont High School students with a valid student ID.

The school said Mike and Joe is a top rock cover band, and are returning to the event after a successful debut at last year's Taste of Lemont, which had more than 3,000 attendees. The Taste of Lemont is the LHSEF’s most important annual fundraiser, and it again will be open to all ages.
The event features food tickets purchased on-site and redeemed with the vendors. Each restaurant will have multiple affordable options on its menu. Participating food and beverage vendors include 4 Penguins, Chicago Restaurant Concepts, Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria, Jimbo’s Pizza, Just Hummus, Kitaro, MaMa D’s, Muffins, Otto Brandt Wines, Pollyanna Brewing Company, Quarry Pub & Grill, Rosati’s Pizza, Sinfully Delicious, Tap House Grill and The Vault. LHS' marching band, A Cappella choir, and local band Split decision will also perform at the event.

Proceeds from the event benefit the LHSEF, whose mission is to partner with the community to make lasting improvements to Lemont High School that will enhance the total educational experience for all of its students.
