Library to Screen Disney's 'Planes' Friday
Admission is canned goods for the local food pantries.
Take a break from holiday shopping Friday to take in a movie at the Lemont Public Library.
This month's flick is Disney's "Planes" and will begin at 10 a.m.
Admission is canned goods for the local food pantries. All ages are invited. No signup required.
The library is located at 50 E. Wend St.

• Holiday Artists Bazaar: The Lemont Center for the Arts' fourth annual Holiday Artists Bazaar will continue through Dec. 22. Attendees can shop a selection of locally handmade arts and crafts. Usual gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, at 1243 State St, Unit 101.• Pancake Breakfast: Lemont Cub Scouts Pack 149 will host the breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 1, at The American Legion, 15052 S. Archer, Lockport.The cost is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 5 to 10. Children under 5 are free. The event will include raffles, prizes and Split the Pot.
