Mini STEM Nights Planned By LHS' Science Honor Society
The Science National Honor Society will host a series of virtual STEM events throughout March for students of all ages.
LEMONT, IL — In partnership with the school’s CITGO Innovation Academy, Lemont High School’s chapter of the Science National Honor Society will host a series of virtual STEM events throughout March for students of all ages, the school said in a release. Weekly events begin on Wednesday, and two contests will run through early April.
Five mini STEM Nights will be held in all, giving students from kindergarten through eighth grade an opportunity to participate in activities virtually, the school said. Each night will include different activities in which students can participate.

Mini STEM Nights will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 3, March 9, March 11, March 16 and March 17.
Students of all ages can also participate in contests designed by members of the Science National Honor Society. According to the school, students from kindergarten through fifth grade can participate in Flipgrid Challenges, where they submit recordings of themselves tackling experiments described by Science National Honor Society students. Additionally, sticker design contests are being held for students from kindergarten through high school.
