NAWS Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Frijole

MOKENA, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at NAWS Humane Society of Illinois. This week's adoptable pet is Frijole, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Frijole is a 1 and a half year old male, domestic short hair cat. The society said the previous owner passed away and Frijole was left abandoned in an apartment.

Frijole came into NAWS very nervous, and it took him some time to warm up, but he now seeks attention and is showing his personality, according to the society. He is chatty, begs for attention, and likes pets.

The society said Frijole may be a little nervous in new situations, so he needs a patient owner that will give him time to adjust.
