The ninth annual Giving Back To Lemont concert is planned for Aug. 28, and helps raise funds and food donations for Lemont pantries.
LEMONT, IL — The ninth annual Giving Back To Lemont concert is planned for Aug. 28. The event, which helps raise funds and food donations for Lemont's two open food pantries, will feature a free concert on the grass lot next to Next Mex, 319 Front St.
Concertgoers can bring non-perishable food or monetary donations, which will be collected and given to both pantries, according to event organizers.
You can bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy the concert from 4 to 9 p.m.

Organizers said there will also be raffles, prizes and giveaways at the event. Over the past eight years, Giving Back to Lemont has raised over $20,000 and donated truckloads of food to help fight hunger in Lemont.
