Obituary: Lois Horcher-Wohead

LEMONT, IL — Lois M. Horcher-Wohead, nee Kollman, age 86 of Lemont, died Oct. 31, 2019. Preceded in death by her father Roland Kollman, her stepfather John, and mother Agnes Tondini; her husband LeRoy A. Horcher.

Lois is survived by her children Anne Marie Sniegowski, and Steven (Sandra) Horcher; also her grandchildren Carl (Marie) Sniegowski, Kate Sniegowski, Alyssa (Micah) Webb, Whitney (Jeff) Woodson, Alexandra (Shane) Benham, and Rileigh Horcher; her great-grandchildren Jackson,
Ryker, Kailey, Stetson; her siblings Doris (Tom) Christensen, Jacki (Danny) Chiaramonte; and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was born and raised in Lemont, with friends and family. Her sense of humor and artistry touched many. She will be remembered and missed by all those who knew her.

Visitation Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. until time of closing prayers at 9:30 a.m., at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. , 108 Illinois St., Lemont, leaving in procession to St. Alphonsus Church, 605 State St., Lemont, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment in parish cemetery.
