ILLINOIS — A rainy, windy weekend is in store for the Chicago area. According to the National Weather Service, temps will be cooler with a high of 52 on Saturday and a high of 48 on Sunday.
Rain is likely Saturday and it will be windy with gusts up to 35 mph. There is also a chance of storms on Saturday night into the overnight hours, the weather service said.
On Sunday, it will be even windier with gusts up to 50 mph. It should stay dry, but the winds may cause hazardous travel for high profile vehicle and loose objects may be blown around. Tree damage and power outages are also possible.
