State Sen. Curran Plans Virtual Public Safety Forum

The event will be held virtually on Zoom at 6:30 p.m. April 21.

LEMONT, IL —Senator John Curran will host a virtual public safety forum with DuPage County Statey's Attorney Robert Berlin and Lemont Police Chief Marc Maton. The event will be held virtually on Zoom at 6:30 p.m. April 21.

“Public safety concerns have been at the forefront of a lot of discussions lately, and I’m pleased to bring two respected community leaders together for this online informational event,” Curran said in a release. “Together, we will provide tips on how residents can maximize their safety against some of this area’s most prevalent crimes, like carjackings, home invasions, and residential burglaries."

Curran said the next steps for the recently-enacted criminal justice reform law will also be discussed. There will also be a question and answer period after the presentation.
