Well Failure, Outdoor Watering Prohibited In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The Village of Lemont's well No. 6, at 13675 McCarthy Road, failed Saturday, Public Works Director Ralph Pukula told Patch. The Village has prohibited outside watering until further notice.
Pukula said the well is being pulled and inspected to identify the issue.
Well No. 6 is the main source of water for the Village.
