1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Montgomery Shooting

MONTGOMERY, IL — Police responding to a report of a domestic incident in the 1900 block of Waverly Way Sunday morning found a female with an apparent gunshot wound and an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the female gunshot victim was taken to an area hospital, where her condition is unknown.

Police said the shooting was an isolated incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
