5 Teen Boys Caught Stealing Vehicle From Boulder Hill: Sheriff's Department

Three of boys in the vehicle were 13

On Wednesday, Montgomery police caught five teens in a vehicle that had just been reported stolen, according to a Sheriff's department press release.

Deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on the 100 block of Heathgate Road just before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. They shared a description of the vehicle with other departments, and Montgomery Police located the vehicle near Douglas Drive and Seasons Ridge.

The five occupants of the vehicle were a 16-year-old boy from Aurora, a 15-year-old boy from Montgomery and three 13-year-old boys from Montgomery. One of the 13-year-olds resides on the same block where the car was reported stolen.

The teens were returned to their parent and referred to Juvenile Court for criminal trespass to a vehicle. No arrests were made in the incident.

According to the SD308 website, the schools in the area were closed for spring break at the time of the incident.
